STEINER WOOD
is the Chief Executive of SKOL Consult (Ghana) a construction consultancy firm in Ghana. Prior to this position Steiner was employed with Gardiner and Theobald LLP, UK for over ten years. He is a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), a member of the Association of Project Management (APM), a member of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) all in England and a member of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS). Steiner is a Management Consultant with a specific interest in the area of project and risk management. He is widely seen as an expert in infrastructure development.
He has also been involved in forensic technical audit of some key construction projects in Ghana and serves on a number of development and construction related committees of both public bodies and professional institutions.
ALEX OPPONG – BAFFOE
began his career in the construction industry in 1994 and has been involved in the delivery of several major construction projects both in the UK and Ghana. Alex holds a degree in Quantity Surveying, an MBA in project finance and a diploma in construction project management. He is certified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Alex is an excellent Project Manager and business leader with vast experience in the formation and management of various teams. He brings a focused and pro-active attitude to any team and always ensures that careful negotiations are targeted to deliver the required end result.
With over 25 years of practical hands-on construction projects experience, Alex has developed the expertise in applying core value-adding skills to assess the needs of projects and provide bespoke services. He has worked closely with clients and fellow professionals both in Ghana and the United Kingdom to ensure the setting of achievable project delivery targets.
In addition to the above, Alex has an excellent understanding of Health & Safety, environmental and sustainability management issues. He is an effective communicator with excellent planning, organisational, and negotiation skills.
